Peter Bryant to Join World Economic Forum Mining Initiative

Peter Bryant, a partner at Clareo and Senior Fellow of the Kellogg Innovation Network is now a member of the Advisory Board for the World Economic Forum’s Mining and Metals in a Sustainable World 2050 initiative. Peter Bryant joins representatives from major mining companies, Alcoa, Anglo American, Arcelor Mittal and Vale among others. The working group’s role is to consider the opportunities and challenges of global trends on the mining industry. Based on an in-depth analysis of the drivers of change, the initiative will outline key issues, such as future workforces, new and disruptive technologies, and opportunities related to frontier mining and the circular economy.

Peter leads a mining alliance born out of the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN) at the Kellogg School of Management. This KIN Catalyst seeks to create a new Development Partner Framework for sustainable development in the mining industry.

Peter has spoken on the topic of sustainability in mining in forums from the University of Auckland Vice Chancellor Series in New Zealand to the Colorado Innovation Network in the United States.
