Andrew is a professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. His consulting work spans industries from consumer-packaged goods to media, technology, financial services, manufacturing, entertainment to professional sports. A few of his consulting clients include Allstate, BNP Paribas, The New York Times, TricorBraun, PepsiCo, Qualcomm and others. At Kellogg, Andrew teaches coursework on growth strategy and innovation and is consistently ranked among top faculty. He is also a limited partner in the world’s leading new venture accelerator (Techstars) and is an angel investor in over 40 companies.
Andrew has served as Vice Chairman of the Wright Centers of Innovation at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC and has provided testimony to the United States Congress on driving economic recovery through innovation. He has appeared in a number of media outlets including BusinessWeek, China Daily, CNN, Fortune, Forbes, Investors Business Daily and The New York Times. Andrew is a contributing expert on innovation for The Travel Channel and is the author of several books including The Future of Innovation, The Upside of Down: Innovation through Recessions, and The Riddle: Where Ideas Come From and How to Have Better Ones. The Riddle was chosen by Fast Company as one of its "Smart Books."
