Grand Rapids, MI, Fall 2011 Invitation-only series of three seminars for business leaders focuses on strategy development, leadership and business innovation
The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Western Michigan selected Clareo to jointly deliver an exclusive program series, Creating Transformational Growth, with a goal to build bridges and deepen connections within the Western Michigan business community. The program series is designed to benefit companies and their leaders (CEO, CFO or development executives) involved in strategy and planning by helping executives advance their strategic thinking and further develop their innovation capabilities.
The first two seminars have had tremendous success. With the third and final session just a week away, be sure to reserve your spot now. Part one of the series focused on What Makes Great Strategy? Clareo and guest presenters exposed common myths that often lead to poor strategy decisions, and shed light on the essential elements that drive transformational growth.
The second session explored the methods and techniques of exceptional leaders who are in this chaotic environment building resilient strategies that shape markets and drive trajectory growth. Peter Bryant, partner at Clareo (and Kellogg Innovation Network board member) took attendees through case studies of successful companies, both large and small, that have built strategic foresight on the future of their markets and embraced change in the planning process.
Finally, the November 17 session, entitled Grow from Within: Linking Strategy to Business Innovation will examine organizational models that successful business leaders use to organize and facilitate innovative processes and efforts. Dr. Robert Wolcott, partner at Clareo and founder of the Kellogg Innovation Network (KIN) at Northwestern University, will reveal a powerful tool implemented with dozens of companies over the past eight years by Clareo.
That evening guests will attend a reception and one-hour program at Grand Rapids Art Museum, combining diverse performers, visual artists and speakers — all focused on the theme of transformation.
In addition to the Clareo team’s expertise, Clareo has brought together seasoned executives from its global network, including KIN to create incomparable panels for each session leveraging their practical experiences in designing strategy and delivering growth.
