They propose five key strategies: optimizing recovery through repurposing and reprocessing, eliminating waste through precision mining, processing all extracted material, transforming leaching techniques, and implementing in-situ extraction methods. While no universal solution exists (yet!), implementing one or more of these ideas can help mining companies create value from what was previously considered waste.
