Kaihan Krippendorff

Dr. Kaihan Krippendorff is an Alliance Partner at Clareo.

He is the founder of growth strategy and innovation consulting firm Outthinker. His growth strategies and innovations have generated over $2.5B in revenue for many of the world’s most recognizable companies including BNY Mellon, Citibank, L’Oréal, Microsoft, and Viacom.


Recognized by Thinkers50 as one of the top 30 management thinkers to look out for this year, Kaihan has written five business strategy and innovation books with his latest book, Driving Innovation From Within: A Guide for Internal Entrepreneurs published October of 2019 by Columbia University Press. Kaihan is also one of eight people shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Distinguished Achievement Award in the category of Innovation – awarded to the person in the world that has contributed the most to the world’s understanding of innovation in the past two years.

Amidst his dizzying schedule of keynotes, consulting projects, ongoing research and writing, Kaihan still finds time to be a consultant with Wharton Executive Education, faculty member of Florida International University, lecturer at business schools throughout the US and internationally, and member of 3 corporate advisory boards – a blockchain-powered transportation platform, an international food processing and exports company, and a B-corporation for sustainable lifestyle products. He is also a senior advisor at Coplex, a venture builder that partners with industry experts and innovative enterprises to start and scale high-growth tech companies.

He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering, Wharton, Columbia, and London Business Schools and a doctorate in strategy.
